Ubisense is a leading developer of the technology which is based in Cambridge, UK. The Series 7000 UWB real-time location system can locate people or objects to an accuracy of 15cm using ultra-wideband radio technology developed by the company. It utilises active electronic tags that can be worn or attached to equipment in applications ranging from personnel safety in nuclear power stations to interactive art exhibits.
