“Ears” of Experience with INITION and Mixed Immersion


INITION were pleased to offer up our creative space to Mixed Immersion from the 22nd to 23rd of June for a day of powerful and moving audio experience.

who are mixed immersion?

Mixed Immersion crafts immersive audio experiences and soundtracks for Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality. Having worked on blockbuster Hollywood titles and delivered groundbreaking immersive experiences for some of the world’s most famous brands and artists, they have a unique heritage, experience and expertise in creating the very best audio experiences.

The day consisted of speaker based demonstrations to show the impact of how these installations add realism and entice the body to respond to sound, as well as the ears. They also provided walk through experiences using HTC Vive and a number of demos which covered both music, film and new immersive environments.

INITION regularly partners with like-minded clients, providing our creative space to companies who like to push the boundaries when it comes to exciting new technology and how they resonate with users.

Our Demo Studio enables us to showcase the in-house facilities and tools we have at our disposal, whilst our specialist team are on-hand to explain the creative and technical process that underpins each installation or project. After all, technology is a fast-paced, ever-changing beast and we believe it’s our ability to sniff out the next big thing that has been crucial to our success.

Mixed Immersion have already had opportunities presented to them since the sessions, which is great and really enforces the desire for immersive audio in partnership with Virtual Reality visuals.
