CLSA, in partnership with INITION, hosted an event for their respected clients and partners, including technology specialists, thematic investors, portfolio managers and others to discuss the differences between augmented and virtual reality and their adoption and use in the market.

INITION hosted a panel presentation and discussion to answer important questions from the attendees on virtual and augmented reality. The panel included:

“The technology is still a work in progress but that what it provides is a completely new way to experience content, and as such should gain mainstream acceptance over time. This isn’t going to be instant, but VR will be “real” unlike 3D TV. Furthermore, with numerous competing technologies, value is less likely to accrue to the hardware makers, and instead this is going to be a content story.
