Designed with the professional in mind, the SONIC4K utilizes dual 28′′ displays and creates an unprecedented level of stereo/3D viewing quality and viewer comfort never seen before.
WHAT THE MANUFACTURER SAYS:
A passive beamsplitter mirror bisects the angle formed between the two monitors, and there is a fine mechanical adjustment for the mirror angle between the two displays. One side of the glass mirror has a reflective coating, and the other side has an anti-reflective coating to minimize secondary reflections. The mirror has been treated with a hard top coating to accommodate cleaning.
OpenGL. The SONIC4K is compatible with OpenGL stereo. An AMD FirePro graphics card is required to drive the two monitors with DP signals. For professional applications that use OpenGL stereo. A AMD Fire Pro GPU is required to flip the upper display in the stereo driv-
er settings. All applications using quad-buffered stereo mode are typically supported by the SONIC4K in the so-called clone mode with flipping the above image. This is currently only supported by AMD FirePro cards. So they are mandatory to use the display in true 4K resolution.
