The Archway Tower in North London is the subject of artist Ruth Ewan's new installation "How to Make Archway Tower Disappear." The innovative project is powered by Inition's 'diminished reality' software which removes the building, allowing local residents to view Archway's cityscape without the tower block, that currently dominates the skyline.

Presenters Suzi, Jason, Jon, Ortis and Pollyanna pit the 6,000 strong crowd in the show's 'Super Theatre' against each other by competing in an Olympic-themed long jump game developed by Inition. -

Inition will be exhibiting in the 3D Futures Lab at Ravensbourne College's annual 3D Storytelling conference. We'll be showing off a range of our 3D technologies and production work including 3D printing, 3D scanning, tablet-based augmented reality, Pepper’s Ghost installations, gestural interface work and our new live autostereoscopic display system.

Inition are collaborating with their bonkers friends at 'To the Lazer Cave' for an extravaganza of interactive laser-based partying at thier next event at Hackney Downs Studios this Saturday (3rd March). Inition has developed a live Kinect-based laser installation that will mirror the DJ and crowd's movements and project a life-sized 'laserfied' DJ above the dance floor.

So we were delighted to read about the launch of the Samsung Art+ Prize, created to recognise the works of technologically-forward contemporary artists in the UK.
