3D scanning
/ acquisition
Inition 3D services; bringing you the latest in
3D digitising and solid imaging technology.
3D Scanning
3D Scanning allows the creation of
a 3D mesh from a real world object or environment. From here all
sorts of application possibilities open up including; animation,
archiving, medical research, rapid prototyping, industrial design
and quality control inspection.
Inition have a wealth of knowledge
in the field, and have experience using laser, structured light
and mechanical scanning systems.
Whether it's a 360 degree scan of
a human head, a delicate sculpture, assets for game creation, or
inspection of engineered parts; Inition provides a flexible and
cost efficient service tailored to your needs. If you have a project
in mind please contact us to talk through the options available.
We generally require images of your object to establish
a quote, but in some cases, we may need the actual part to provide
an accurate quote for your project. Each of the following criteria
may also affect the ultimate cost of your project:
- Physical characteristics - size, material,
shape, etc
- Output File - xyz point cloud, .stl, .iges,
etc
- Location - in-house or off-site
- Time to delivery - urgent, standard or down time.
For a quote please contact
us via email or by our
information request form or by telephone
on +44 (0)20 7613 5004.

3D object archiving:
Inition provides 3d content creation
and visualisation services dedicated to the digital replication
of real world objects. Utilising the latest motion control and handheld
3d colour laser scanners we can produce virtual models of archival
quality. These 3d models can then be used for downstream applications
such as interactive web museums, online data sharing and research,
real world physical prototypes for training and education, and conservation
/ restoration reference.
