SV-6 PC Viewer

The SV-6 PC Viewer is the perfect solution for mobile computing offering enhanced colour depth of 18 bits (262,144 colours) with lightweight optics and packaging. It mounts to safety or conventional eyewear using a quick mount and dismount system. The SV-6 may also be used for left or right eye viewing and has a built-in focus mechanism. The pixel format is 640 columns by 480 rows. The SV-6 is compatible with most computers and instruments that provide a VGA signal at 60 Hz.

Additional features of the SV-6 include the ability to view higher resolution input on the 640x480 display. The SV-6 will accept an 800x600 and higher input and reformat the information to be displayed on the viewer without adding scroll bars. This is a critical feature when existing software will not conform to 640x480 resolution.

The SV-6 Viewer includes the following accessories: Non-prescription eyewear, mounting kit for use with alternative eyewear, rechargeable Li ion battery, battery charger, belt-worn pouch, VGA extension cable, optical cloth, carrying case and user's manual.

CV-3 Instrument Viewer

The CV-3 Video Viewer mounts on eyeglasses or safety eyewear and provides a monocular colour full VGA image. The viewer is a full video rate product capable of full motion video at 60 frames per second. It has a quick release mounting system so that it can be easily attached and detached from the user’s eyewear. The CV-3 is a field-changeable left or right eye viewer. The focal distance can be adjusted from 2 feet to infinity.

The CV-3 provides convenient controls for adjusting the contrast, brightness, tint, and colour of the image. The miniature controls and battery are integrated in a lightweight, sleek system that is easily clipped to a belt or carried in a pocket. Operating time on a single charge is approximately 5 hours.

The pixel format of the CV-3 is 640 columns by 480 rows, and the colour depth is 18 bit (262,144 colours). The CV-3 is compatible with most NTSC video and PAL sources. Input to the CV-3 is through a conventional RCA connector - the same connector found on most cameras and video equipment or a BNC adaptor can be used.
