Trivisio 3-Scope / VRscope / Goggles / HMD
This portable stereoscopic display can
be used for watching stereoscopic videos, PC-games or any other 3D-signal
(non-time-sequential). VRscope binocular model also available.

Both the 3Scope and the VRscope come in both goggle and HMD models.
The 3-Scope is a digital binocular
display which positions itself in front of the eyes of the viewer. It allows
experiencing 2D and 3D data visualization in full privacy. The 3-Scope gives
the viewer a maximum Real Field of View of 40 degrees diagonally. Tracking and
programming solutions will allow you to increase the Virtual Field of View to
360 degrees diagonally.
3-Scope is comprised of a power
unit and a View-Up-Display device. Power unit and view-up display are
connected by a cable. The power unit contains the power supply and the
electronic image treatment. The View-Up Display contains totally new optics
and two high resolution LCOS Displays with 1,440,000 pixels in colour.
3-Scope offers an extraordinary three-dimensional
colour image. The 3-Scope realises a 3-D image by means of video, without the
loss of either image information or light intensity. This enables the view of
3-D images without the need for additional polarising or other auxiliary glasses,
far superior in quality than other 3-D solutions. Work with the 3-Scope requires
substantially reduced eye accommodation. The eyes do not have to accommodate
continuously to viewing objects at different distances. This results in considerably
reduced eye fatigue.

VRscope offers a high contrast
crisp colour image with a 800x600 resolution and a big field of view (40°
diagonal). It is ideal for viewing 2D images and videos in full privacy.

Warranty
The standard warranty on all Trivisio products is one year (this only applies to HMDs/goggles without customisation).
3Scope Customisation and Options
Trivisio manufacture most of their products to standard specifications, but it is also possible to request certain customisations and modifications.

The 3-scope has a standard cable length (between the power unit and the headset) of 1.2m, but may be extended/shortened as required (up to 5m) upon request.
The adjustment of distance between the oculars comes in two versions in order to match each individual's interpupillary distance (IPD).
Standard IPD adjustment: 60-70 mm
Optional extended IPD adjustment: 55-72 mm
Velcro headband: compared to standard retainer, the velcro headband is easier to open and close and has more ergonomic fixation

q What is this product's raison d'etre?
a These HMD's are a step up in quality from the consumer range. They are extremely light yet are quite robust and well built. The 3-Scope is a stereoscopic unit. Both are available as an HMD with a strap which tightens around the back of the head or as goggles which sit on the ears as with a pair of glasses.
