Inition's 3d scanning services used to authenticate lost masterpiece

Inition, in partnership with Arius3D are using colour laser scans to authenticate Da Vinci's Wax Rider, made of beeswax and powdered marble. The Arius3D model will allow experts all over the world to determine if the 20-centimetre sculpture, is the work of Leonardo da Vinci, without ever having to handle the centuries-old piece.
