This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an IT support background to broaden experience with exposure to the field of cutting edge 3D technologies. The role combines developing and maintaining the IT function and related systems of our business with supporting, maintaining and integrating our range of 3D equipment.
Role
The role comprises IT support and development in two areas. Firstly managing our London office IT network infrastructure and providing support to our staff. Secondly maintaining, developing and supporting from a technical and IT perspective our demo studio with the integration of systems for both internal and external client based projects.
IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION
- Managing the IT administration of the office.
- Maintaining and developing the company intranet.
- Setting up and maintaining PCs for staff.
- Installing and maintaining Windows and Office software.
- Administering and maintaining company email system.
- Maintaining website hosting
- Maintaining company phone system
- Data Backups
- IT Security
- Maintaining in house database system
3D TECHNOLOGIES
- Developing a deep understanding all 3D technologies from an IT perspective
- Systems integration, combining complex 3D software and hardware technologies into systems for demos and clients.
- Specifying appropriate PC hardware for systems
Skills
- Very strong PC-based IT skills a pre-requisite, a thorough understanding of Windows based software administration with strong networking
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- Problem solving, the ability to think laterally and prioritise is key to this role.
- Visual Basic programming skills a bonus, specifically SQL and VBA with Microsoft Access.
