Can the display show 2D content?
Yes, will a slight loss of resolution from full HD.
How do I create 3D live-action content?
Either ask Inition to convert it from 2D to 3D or use existing video as a background later with extra elements composited on top.
Are larger versions available?
In Q3 2008, a 52" model will be released.
Is there a consumer version coming?
Philips have no plans at the moment to release this as a consumer product.
Can you use standard remote media management packages to control a network of these?
Yes, many standard software packages have capability to support the Philips 3D products, including Scala and YCD.
Is it a special display, special content or both?
Both. The display has a lenticular lens in front of it. The content is create in the 2D+depth format.
