Andy Millns
Director
Andy has a wide range of knowledge and experience in 3D shoot and post and workflow design for stereoscopic projects, having worked on commercial 3D projects for over 10 years. Andy's 3D interest began at a young age whilst experimenting with real-time stereoscopic 3D virtual world programming. He went on to study Computer Science and Advanced Graphics at the University of Leeds and started work at a leading virtual reality and simulation company doing real-time stereoscopic and live action production work.
Andy went on to found Inition in 2001 with two colleagues and now heads up Inition's stereoscopic production team. Since 2001 Inition have led a number of high-profile stereoscopic projects including many firsts: the first live 3D satellite transmission (a Rugby Six Nations match with the BBC); the first ever live 3D music transmission (Keane from Abbey Road Studios with Sky); and recent live football and opera for France Telecom and a number of commercial and promos shoots for 3D TV and 3D digital cinema including the UK's first 3D digital cinema ad featuring Usain Bolt.
